Seeing the need for support in the Las Vegas area for youth music programs as well as music programs within the school system, Drums Along The Strip has formed a new organization as Drums Along The Strip, LLC and has filed for non profit status. A Board of Directors has been established and a purpose to support youth performing arts programs that teach principals of good citizenship, music and physical fitness, develop attitudes of sportsmanship, fair play and clean living. Accomplishing these through educational, competitive and creative activities both as individuals and teams.

We are planning to work with Drum Corps International to bring a DCI sanctioned competition in the future to Las Vegas on a continuing basis.

The Vegas Vanguard Percussion Theatre has been added as one of the units that will be sponsored by DATS and is performing in the area now. You can find out more information about them at www.vegasvanguard.org
